Volunteer with us!

We don't just talk about a better world. We work for it.

In Chicago, actions speak louder than words. At New Acropolis, we believe that wisdom is useless unless it is applied. That’s why we take our philosophy out of the classroom and into the streets.

Service is a Two-Way Street

We don't volunteer because we think we are "saviors" coming to fix the city. We volunteer because we live here.

Civic Duty: If we want clean parks and safe streets, we have to pitch in.

Connection: Working side-by-side is the fastest way to break down barriers and meet your neighbors.

Self-Growth: It’s easy to be "philosophical" when life is easy. Real character is built when you are sweating, carrying boxes, or cleaning up a park in the cold.

How We Help in Ravenswood

We focus on tangible, local impact.

No Experience Required

You don't need to be a philosopher to help. You just need to show up.

  1. Check the Calendar: Find a date that works for you.

  2. Wear Comfortable Clothes: We provide the gloves and the bags.

  3. Bring a Friend: The more, the merrier.

Whether you can come once a month or once a year, your hands make a difference.
